Plantscape Solutions constructs a lot of patios with saw cut flagstone versus just the plain looking random pattern. It really takes more of an artistic touch to piece together a patio when you have to cut every stone to fit perfectly. If you look at the picture you will notice all the mortar joints are very uniform in size with very little variation. it takes a lot of effort to get this level of precision and uniformity but it’s the only way we do projects. We do not use small pieces of stone as filler in our projects like most companies. All scrap stone ends up being tossed as it should and not recycled as filler material which is the norm much of the time.
The stone in this picture was done at a town home that had a small backyard that was just an ugly patch of dirt. The stone used was Oklahoma Pink. We even constructed a small landing outside the door to ease the transition step down to the patio. If you like the idea of getting old school quality you will really like what our mason Roland Del Toro can do. Roland has been a mason for over 40 years and really understands what it takes to construct your project the right way so it will stand the test of time. We can usually offer a level of craftsmanship you can’t easily find else where at any price.
