In 2013 Plantscape Solutions added Vickerman as our main supplier for garland, wreaths, and other greenery material. Vickerman has been around since 1940 and is one of the oldest holiday greenery companies in the United States. They have longer warranties that are usually three seasons of use for most products. Many suppliers use the popular one season of use warranty. One season is only six weeks and that is not the type of warranty we feel comfortable endorsing. We have many clients who have $500 or more invested in wreaths and garland and you need to feel comfortable when making that type of investment.
Vickerman now sells the Teardrop Garland (pictured above) which is great for use under light fixtures, on columns as an accent and in other areas. Vickerman also has incredible Outdoor Structured Nylon Bows (pictured above) for use on wreaths that really set an industry standard for quality. I have customers who admit to being bow snobs and only the Vickerman bows meet or exceed their high standards. These bows are UV treated and will not fade and bleach quickly like some of the inferior bows.
